Friday Blog Hop - May 27th

Book Blogger Hop

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed!

Each week, participating blogs are asked questions to post and answer on their websites.

This week’s question –

Which book to movie adaptation have you liked the most?  Which have you disliked?

Hands down I think that Harry Potter takes the cake for this question.  Plus, it keeps getting better and better.  Can't wait for the last movie to be released.  On the flipside, I have to be honest, (I think I'm going to get some flack for this) I didn't really like the first Twilight movie.  Please don't throw tomatoes at your computer screen...
Welcome to the Paperback Princesses! Make yourself at home, take a look around our blog and let us know what you think in the comments section. We would love to hear what you have to say about our posts. We often try to comment on your comments as well so feel free to start a conversation! Since there are two of us running the show, we always have a variety of titles and event postings. Be sure to check out our own personal meme page. Check out Fantastic Fairytales, Let's Hear it for the Boys, In Case you Missed it and a few others. We try to not only focus on new YA books but also great titles from the past.

  1. Let’s kick off Memorial Day Weekend with some scandal and controversy.

I absolutely loved every minute of the Lord of the Rings films and felt they hit the mark when they brought Tolkien’s masterpiece to the big screen.
(ducking as rotten tomatoes are thrown at me as the torches are lit and the pitchforks raised)

Wait, wait. I can explain! Hop on over to my blog and hear me out – http://www.howardsherman.net

  2. I'm totally with you! Harry Potter has been great. It's so popular that they can get away with making totally crap movies, but they keep making awesome movies. :)

And Twilight was SO creepy. Ruined the book for me.

  3. Mine's LOTR, they're the best for me. But I agree with you. I hate Twilight because of Kristen S.

Hopping thru your blog and im your newest follower! Happy Friday!

  4. Thanks for the comments Howard, Fakesteph and iamjen! I cannot wait for Harry Potter to come out in July. The first Twilight movie was disappointing in my books. Is it bad that I hung in there to watch Taylor Lautner reveal his abs? :P

  5. I really liked the last Harry Potter movie. I was worried about the last book being split into two parts, but the pacing of the last movie seemed perfect, with the whole story being about the hunt for the Horcrux. Loved it!

  6. One of the things that I enjoyed with the last Harry Potter movie was that they really showed you the relationship between Hermione, Harry and Ron. It would have been so easy for Hermione to fall for Harry but they showed exactly how close they were only as friends. Thanks for commenting Madigan!
