Best of Both Worlds - A YA Book With Knitting!

As some of you are aware, Christinabean and I love to knit.  Well I was just amazed this morning when I got notification in my mail box of this little gem coming in October.

It's a YA book, sounds paranormal'ish, that includes knitting - yes I know, that's so wonderfully crazy.  Apparently the lead character, Rosie, is a knitter, how much fun is that?

I don't have a huge amount of info, but it looks as though the author, Heather Ordover - who wrote What Would Madame Defarge Knit - is hosting KAL's (That's knit-a-longs for those who don't know) and encouraging knitters to design patterns based on the characters.  There will also be sock patterns available. In fact, if you pre-order the book you get a free sock pattern sent to you.  This is just so cool.  I can't wait to see a copy of this book and try it for myself.  I'll keep you posted.

If you're interested, here is a link to the book page

I was so excited about this news I just had to write a quick post between diaper changes and feedings.  Being a grandmother is even more fun than reading and knitting!
