BTW, Todd didn't do too badly with his stories, they're not quite as good, but still worth reading. And you're right, Pern is a MUST read for dragon lovers.
I haven't tried the Bitterwood books, I'll need to give them a go.curlypowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15663256160369920564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8524717131015908859.post-41010227615643494932012-07-17T11:56:01.577-04:002012-07-17T11:56:01.577-04:00Oh Pern! I want to spend a month or so re-reading them in chronological order (not publishing order). I'm a little iffy about Todd taking over the reigns...whenever this has happened in the past (DUNE!) I've been disappointed. But Anne McCaffery left a wonderful legacy of lots of Pern novels I will enjoy for years to come - anyone who hasn't visited Pern must! MUST!

Also, if you already love Pern...try James Maxey's Bitterwood books. It's the anti-thesis to Pern, but just as good (dragons are in charge and MEAN).Special Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03362439601680542692noreply@blogger.com
