Review:
Angels twice descending is the last book in the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy series. I had not read the summary so I wasn't expecting the ending of the story. It was a little bit intense for me. Entirely worthwhile though and very fitting. Does Simon get his "wings" so to say? Oh wait a minute....and if he does, is he able to take a rune to the skin? Hmmm...all things to think about eh? I really enjoyed this series. Simon is such a key character in the Shadowhunter world while not having any real abilities but he has all of the characteristics of a great hero. He is loyal and kind and always seems to do the right thing. In my mind, this series has elevated his status (OK, so he is heroics in Book #6 were pretty awesome as well). Sure he is still geeky but now he is cool and geeky.
