Review:

Imagine being in love with an undead boyfriend while working for an organization that is trying to destroy him.  Once again Meg Cabot delivers a hilarious and outrageous supernatural read.  Her story is fun, intriguing, has action and romance.  It made me remember that not everything has to be so serious in life...  That includes your reading material!  If you're looking for something (a little over the top) that is light and fun to read, this is it.  If you need something a little more serious and vampire themed, you might want to try re-reading Dracula by Bram Stoker.

One last thing about this book...I did find that it ended rather abruptly and that the ending was not as developed as I was hoping.  The book was entertaining but the ending did leave me a little flat...kind of like a good movie whose budget ran short at the end.

Overbite is book #2 in the Insatiable series.  I wasn't sure if I was prepared to read it since Book #1 took such a bizarre twist at the end of the story.  However, I love Meg Cabot.  She's like a girl's best friend when it comes to book writing and whenever I'm in the mood for something fun and less serious, she is in my lighter read book "arsenault" (hee hee).  Plus, she has a wicked sense of humor.  Start with Insatiable then try Overbite.  Be prepared to be entertained for awhile, laugh a little, roll your eyes, enjoy the ridiculousness and stop taking yourself so seriously.  You know, it could be worse.  Your ex-boyfriend might be "nibbling" your neck the next time you meet up....
