Friday Follow is a blog hop that was started by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each week a different question is posted by
our hosts and we wil answer! This is a
great opportunity for bloggers to network and interact.
This week’s question –
Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you’ve done, that as you gained more experience you were like — oops?
Welcome to the Paperback Princesses! Make
yourself at home, take a look around our blog and let us know what you think in
the comments section. We would love to hear what you have to say about our
posts. We often try to comment on your comments as well so feel free to start a
conversation! Since there are two of us running the show, we always have a
variety of titles and event postings. Be sure to check out our own personal
meme page. Check out Fantastic Fairytales, Let's Hear it for the Boys, In Case
you Missed it and a few others. We try to not only focus on new YA books but
also great titles from the past.
Don't forget that we have a giveaway going on for a copy of Jennifer Lynn Barne's Nobody & Every Other Day. ENTER HERE NOW. (Now is a great time to enter since our entries are low!!) Also Notes From Ghost Town HERE
I'm very similar to you :D

Have a great weekend!
I hate that feeling when you now you could have done more to promote or whatever. But sometimes as you say you just take to many things on at the same time.

So guilty! I take on books too but then life gets in the way and I feel terrible for not being able to read them in a timely manner. I just finished one from over a year ago! The author was nice about it though since book 2 is about to come out.

Ooh, I'm guilty of something similar. When I first started out, I was too eager to accept review books from indie authors. Now I still have a few that I haven't gotten around to reading and reviewing! I feel terrible, but hopefully I'll get around to them before the year mark.

I learned very early on to decline gently if somebody asked me about reviewing their book and I wasn't interested. But then again, I learned a long time ago to not feel bad to say no. It's a life lesson that'll save so much stress in the long run.

I'm the same way and I hate the feeling of not reading books that I accept from publishers or authors.

That happens to the best of us..!!!But you know what they say..So many books and no time to read them..It's frustrating,I know..New follower!:)
ReplyDeleteI really liked your answer. I used to take on too much reading, where all I would do is read and blog and I felt overloaded at times. Now I try to be a bit more balanced, and only review books for authors that I am really interested in and feel I can have time for.
ReplyDeleteReading everyones oops has taught me a lot I am super new to this and I must say reading yours has made me think I need to organize my read better (when i get some LOL)
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend
