Follow Friday - November 1

Friday Follow is a blog hop that was started by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.  Each week a different question is posted by our hosts and we will answer!  This is a great opportunity for bloggers to network and interact.
This week’s question –

What book are you embarrassed to admit you LOVED? (try to think beyond Twilight).

This is a tough one for me.  I don't think I've ever been embarrassed for liking a book.  I used to be embarrassed because I liked to read so much but I soon got over that when I found my own inner self-confidence and didn't care what others thought.  I LOVED Christopher Pike books and Sweet Valley High books when I was younger (much younger).  Looking back at them now and comparing them to the YA fiction on today's shelves, they might seem rather tame and a bit predictable.  What's your embarrassing read?

Welcome to the Paperback Princesses! Make yourself at home, take a look around our blog and let us know what you think in the comments section. We would love to hear what you have to say about our posts. We often try to comment on your comments as well so feel free to start a conversation! Since there are two of us running the show, we always have a variety of titles and event postings. Be sure to check out our own personal meme page. Check out Fantastic Fairytales, Let's Hear it for the Boys, In Case you Missed it and a few others. We try to not only focus on new YA books but also great titles from the past.

  1. Well, I was going to say Twilight but it says think beyond it. Aside from bodice-ripper books that I was embarrassed to tell my friends, I don't have any book to be embarrassed about.

  3. I agree, I wish that they had the YA books that they have now when I was in school. I also read the Sweet Valley books. I picked a 2 children's book series for mine that I read a couple of years ago. My Feature
